Eyemouth Harbour, on the south east coast of Scotland, provides safe berthing for fishing and leisure boats and all essential services and supplies are readily available. It is just off the A1, an hour (by road) from Edinburgh, and an hour and a half from Newcastle.

There is a fishing fleet of approximately 30 vessels, ranging from small creel boats to larger pair trawlers. During the summer the fleet may double in size when visiting fishing boats from the east coast of England come north for the prawns.

The harbour is popular with touring leisure craft and there is a fully serviced pontoon with disabled access on the Middle Pier.

In the summer you can bring the family to watch a busy fishing port in action, buy an ice cream, or fish-pieces to feed the seals with, visit the 'World of Boats Museum' on the harbourside, and take a trip along the coast in the Glass Bottom Boat (see Leisure Page), which runs regular trips out of the harbour.

Eyemouth is also a centre for diving and recently access to the shoreline at Gunsgreen has been improved for divers. There is a dive shop on Gunsgreen Pier, and commercial dive companies and a bunk house in the town (see Leisure Page).

Boats are also available for sightseeing and fishing trips (see Leisure Page).
